Some questions for you to consider are:
1. Will you need a battery-based system or will you always have a source of power available?
2. How many inputs do you need? How many microphone inputs? How many line (keyboard, tape players, etc.) inputs will you need?
3. Will you be mainly indoors or out-of-doors? How large an audience do you expect?
4. What is your budget?
